Have you ever said "I don't want to watch porn" or "I am not going to watch porn".
If you have tried to stop watching porn, the chances are you've told yourself something like this before.
And then, you've ended up going back to porn anyway.
This is because by telling yourself "I don't want to watch porn" or "I am not going to watch porn" you are keeping your mind focused on what you are NOT going to do.
But, let's think about this another way.
Let's say you wanted to win a game of football.
If you told yourself "I don't want to concede any goals" or "I am not going to let the opposition score" you may do well and get a draw.
But, would you win?
Well, if you never focus on scoring any goals yourself, you will never win the game.
For any change to take place, there has to be motion. Action is required.
And yet, most people still take a defensive, passive approach towards overcoming porn addiction.
And it is no wonder they feel terrible during recovery, and eventually always end up back at porn.
Our clients inside of the Beyond Compulsion Academy are very specifically trained to take a proactive, attacking approach towards this problem.
We see the moments of compulsive desire as opportunities for change.
Through that temporary discomfort is a moment of rewiring potential.
And we want to make the most of that so we use a 5-Fact script to change the neural pathways in that specific moment.
This is how our clients are able to stop, stay stopped, and feel good about it.
If you'd like to explore getting on the attack and changing your neural pathways through the Beyond Compulsion method, feel free to book in a 1-1 Discovery Call with myself.
