You would not put your hands in fire, but if you are still addicted to porn - you are choosing to burn your brain with a screen. Not literally, but that is how it feels. Overstimulated, confused, and anxious. The fear of another relapse lurks in the darkest corners of the mind.
If you have watched porn many times in the past, you have wired your brain to want to watch porn again in the future.
Addicted neural pathways are now in place. Inside of the Beyond Compulsion Academy we focus on learning how to deal with the moment that you want to engage in compulsivity.
The exact moment that the addicted part of the mind (APOTM) tries to convince you with some bullshit to engage in your compulsive behaviour. How you deal with your own desires determines the quality of your life.
Temporary discomfort and long term benefits or temporary relief and long term suffering. Once you know exactly how to think through the critical choice and can do so in a repeatable way, you no longer need to search for a solution. You get the rewiring reps in (using a script to change your neural pathways) and otherwise get to crack on with your life, without worrying about this problem anymore.
Freedom and peace of mind lives on the other side of temporary discomfort. You don't have to stop watching porn, but with the right education and tools - you get to.
