The desire is always temporary

When you are experiencing strong desires it can feel like it will last forever.


You feel like it is going to get stronger and stronger until you give in to it.


But, this is just the addicted part of the mind (APOTM) doing it's job.


The APOTM wants you to engage in your compulsive behaviour and will say anything to make that happen.


Yesterday, one of our clients shared how he has been experiencing a lot of urges recently, but has been able to experience them without acting on them.
