NoFap & Self-Improvement Versus BC Method

This morning I woke up early and went to the gym.


My girlfriend met me there and I teased her for getting there later than me.


Afterwards, I spent an hour and a half at Fix - a sauna and ice bath place here in Manchester.

 

In the sauna I meditated for a while.


But, what has this got to do with overcoming a porn addiction?


The honest answer is absolutely nothing.


These were just some choices I made this morning because these were the actions I wanted to take this morning.


Do I wake up early every morning and go to the gym and then the sauna? No.

 

Last night I got a takeaway after our BCA group call and watched The Godfather 2 on my own. The chips were good, the burger not so much.


What has that got to do with porn addiction? Again, absolutely nothing.

 

When it comes to porn addiction recovery, a lot of NoFappers and self-improvement gurus come up with all kinds of nonsensical approaches to stopping porn.


But, they fail to understand the addicted part of the mind and get caught up in running on a treadmill of self-improvement.


I know this because I used to be one of those Nofappers and I can assure you, it is no way to live your life! It is exhausting and always results in relapse.

 

Fortunately, an alterative way of living is available.
