Managing addiction versus solving addiction

The prospect of attending meetings to talk about the "journey" of overcoming addiction may appeal to some people. And whilst this can lead to people overcoming feelings of shame, it doesn't always translate into overcoming a compulsive behaviour.

There is a big difference between managing addiction with support from others and actually solving an addiction with the required training.

What differentiates Beyond Compulsion Academy to other programs is that we focus on training and providing people with a practical solution. We are not for people who want to turn up to meetings for the rest of their life to talk about relapses and get some encouragement from other people who are also relapsing. We exist for people who like problem solving and want to feel equipped in dealing with the part of their mind that wants to engage in compulsivity in a rational, effective way. We don't help people manage their addiction.

We help people make decisions they can be proud of, moment by moment, so they can feel in control and good about themselves. If you think you may be a good fit for BCA, feel free to schedule a 1-1 call with me to learn more about how BCA works and how we can help you take back control of your mind.
