If you have been here a while, you will know the Beyond Compulsion method teaches people how to deal with the addicted part of the mind (APOTM) in an effective way. Part of this is being able to let the APOTM talk, without fear of relapse. Last night, we had another group call with our clients and it was great to see clients sharing what the APOTM had been up to recently. This is real self-awareness. I have shared countless junkie thoughts and unanswerable questions with Mari and clients since I learned this method. I can do this from a place of calmness and stability because I KNOW all junkie thoughts and unanswerable questions are just the APOTM at work. It is nothing to fear. And this is why our clients who expose the APOTM and answer back to it are able to feel really confident and clear on how to deal with this problem, and stop relapsing. Meanwhile, most approaches continue to recommend people install blockers and remove triggers which just hands power over to the APOTM. For long-term, sustainable success, we need to deal with the APOTM directly instead of trying to avoid it. If you would like to start dealing with the APOTM head on so you can experience long-term clarity and peace of mind, join BCA. Join Beyond Compulsion Academy
