The Manosphere and Social Media

I recently watched Louis Theroux's latest documentary exploring the manosphere. He interviewed many "red pill" people who are very well known on social media. And honestly, it left me feeling incredibly grateful for my life, and my values. I thought it was sickening how many of the men being interviewed tried to portray themselves as "successful" whilst using "attractive" women to get their views, often from people struggling with compulsions. Essentially, many of these men are modern day pimps. The same goes for Andrew Tate. And these are the role models that many teenage boys are looking up to? Social media is full of degeneracy nowadays. More now than ever. And once you escape it entirely, you don't look back on it and miss it. You see it for what it is - a cesspit of compulsion, lies, and deceit. Many of our clients choose to stop engaging in scrolling on social media once they learn the Beyond Compulsion method.

I think this is a great choice for anyone wishing to end their porn addiction. Not because there are "triggers" on social media, but because engaging in social media by scrolling is often a compulsion in and of itself. And most importantly - because life is often infinitely better without it!
