17 Years of Porn Addiction, Lasting Results, and Feelings of Deprivation

Few porn addiction programs work in the long run. One of the reasons for this is that people eventually get so sick of feeling deprived of something that they say "to hell with it" and relapse. Joe, one of our clients, previously tried a few programs, but continued to stay stuck in his porn addiction. He stayed stuck in his porn addiction for 17 years, before working with us. Nowadays, he is able to live free of his porn addiction, and live without feelings of deprivation. Joe is setting a great example to other people. If he wasn't equipped in dealing with deprivation-based junkie thoughts, he'd believe the thought: "I can't watch porn because I am setting an example to others". This would result in him feeling deprived of porn and eventually feeling so bad that he would want to get out of the feelings of deprivation. This would likely lead to relapse. The truth that he and I know is that he can watch porn.

The Beyond Compulsion Academy doesn't have the power to take that choice away from people. Instead, our method gives people a choice. This is how people get long-term results through application of our method. Through understanding they do have a choice. They can watch porn. This is true for me, Joe, and everyone reading this. But, we also know there are extreme consequences to relapsing and that there are amazing benefits on the other side of experiencing the temporary discomfort of compulsive desire. Joe recently created a video sharing his experience of high-ticket porn addiction recovery programmes. It's worth a watch.
