Get it sorted and move on

Yesterday I caught up with one of my clients from last year.

He was doing well. Very well. He was really enjoying his new relationship. One which started around 6 months ago.

His work had improved. He had recently been asked to do a talk in front of 200 people.

He was enjoying spending time in new countries and travelling. And he had gone over 9 months without porn or masturbation.

In fact, I didn't even need to do any coaching because he was very content with how everything in his life was going. This is because he did the work.

When he joined our program, he watched every single video we shared. He joined every coaching call available.

And at every opportunity to use his script, he chose to use it and actively rewire his brain.

On our call yesterday, he talked about there not being any shortcuts to success. He is right.

Putting in the work results in success. And when you do this, you get to move on and have a lot of peace of mind and mental freedom. However, unfortunately, when it comes to porn addiction recovery - people are being taught to pull on the wrong levers. It is like people are trying to get stronger biceps by going on a run.

And this is why it is so crucial to start by understanding the problem. The problem is not a lack of discipline or motivation. The problem is not innate sexual desires or some random thing that happened to you when you were younger.

The problem is the inevitable moment of compulsive desire - urges. What do you choose to do when part of your mind relentlessly desires something that results in awful consequences? It is right there, in that moment, you have a critical choice to make for yourself.

Fortunately, if you learn what to do in that moment, you no longer need to worry about this problem anymore. You simply get to work by using the script to rewire addicted neural pathways. And then the desires lessens and lessens over time as you change the brain. Outside of this work of using the script, you then have tons of space to crack on and build the life you wish to live. No more worrying. No more random self-improvement stuff. The continuous cycle of trying to figure out what to do all the time ends.

And you have everything you need to take control and stay in control for good.
