Everyone's actions are different, but often the thoughts are very similar

Some people look at porn that doesn't align with their sexual tastes.

Some people binge for hours. Some people only watch porn when they feel very stressed. Some people only look at sexual content on social media. Some people binge eat food.

Some people spend hours scrolling, but rarely masturbate.

Some people distract themselves so they can try to avoid urges.

Some people only relapse when they are hungover.

Everyone's actions are different. But, the thoughts that lead them there are very similar. People with addicted neural pathways have junkie thoughts and unanswerable questions that, if left untreated, result in people inevitably engaging in behaviours they want to stop.

The rest of the world is stuck in a cycle of putting labels on people, trying to categorise different problems, and prescribe the "right medication" for particular "disorders".

We do things differently here. We understand that living with addicted neural pathways is difficult, but that the brain can be changed, with the right help, due to neuroplasticity. We help people proactively change their own brain for themselves by providing training on the addicted part of the mind and how to effectively deal with it and rewire the brain.

When we change how we think, we change how we feel, and therefore change how we act. When we change how we think, in the specific moment of compulsive desire, we change how we feel and therefore how we act. This literally changes our neural pathways. We see that it is possible to experience a strong desire, and actually feel the temporary discomfort without having to act on it. This changes our beliefs further. For lasting change, an approach that deals with the problem by changing the way we think, specifically when an urge is experienced, is key.
