Assimilation of thought and rewiring compulsive neural pathways
Writing this from Portland's airport, I feel sad to be leaving Mari, but grateful for having had such an incredibly special time together. There are so many experiences I could write about, but I think what stands out is how cool it is that two people can think so incredibly similarly. Countless times throughout the past week, Mari and I would have the same thought at the exact same time. It was pretty crazy really! This didn't just happen through chance.
If someone has achieved the goal you want to achieve, learn how they think, copy them, and it is likely you will get the same outcomes as them. My trip to Portland was incredibly productive, but also just so enjoyable. From building a fire together to playing cards to simple things like watching TV — spending time with someone who is completely living their Life Beyond Compulsion really is a gift. In Beyond Compulsion Academy, we are focused on thinking in ways which result in freedom. It is not about removing triggers and living in fear. It is about learning to think in a new way and repeatedly dealing with any of your compulsive neural pathways so you get to enjoy life on the other side of compulsion. I am so grateful for Mari and this method for helping me change my life. I know a lot of our clients have had the same experience too. Below is a client review we received yesterday which was awesome. It is an absolute pleasure to have many people join me and Mari in living a Life Beyond Compulsion.
